Updating L4 with updated L3 journal files

I have updated the L3 (lbxlls) "Galaxie Journal" files in my L3 directory via ftp transfer from bible.org. These as far as I understand are not automatically updated by L4. Do I use the scan c:\logos 3 folder command to update these resources in L4, or is there some other manner in which these files are updated?

I read on the forum of the journal files downloading too. Someone reported that he got the latest files from Galaxie but Logos thought they were older than the ones on the ftp site and downloaded old copies. http://community.logos.com/forums/p/5373/42046.aspx

I do notice a difference in file size as well as dates. Maybe an answer from galaxie will help. That will be my next step, before I somehow force a L4 update that is not correct. Does someone from Logos have an answer?
