Can you upload keynote presentations into Proclaim?
No, there is no functionality to import Keynote presentations into Proclaim.
That really bites. They should make it compatible.
That's really a request for Apple as they do not provide anyone a way to link into Keynote. It actually is the same for all their software. I can find programs to import stuff from Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Try looking for anything other than an Apple program that can import stuff from Keynote, Pages, or Numbers Maybe one day they will loosen that grip at least a little
Hi Michael,
While you cannot included Keynote presentations in Proclaim - I advocate making use of 'spaces'. Set the Keynote up before the service in one space and use Proclaim in another.
At the appropriate moment blank the Logos screen and flick between spaces - the transition, while not pretty, is almost instantaneous and will probably go unremarked by the vast majority of the congregation.
Another solution would be exporting slides as JPEGs from Keynote. If you don't use many transitions, this would be smoother. If you want Keynote transitions, Mike's spaces solution is probably your best bet.
I export keynote into powerpoint and open it in proclaim. It has taken some experimentation to see what transitions correctly and what does not (fonts, etc.), but I am pretty comfortable with it now.
