I haven't found a good way to convert PDFs myself yet, but since BBR is freely available online, I wondered if anyone has converted it into PPB files.

If you do not have, or cannot find a converter you're happy with; you could use this method for creating a PB linking to BBR

Although just because something is available freely online, that does not (necessarily) mean that they have given up copyright on it. These are still, I suspect, well under copyright.
If you were to convert them for your own use, that is one thing, but I don't think sharing the docx files would be appropriate.

I don't know much about the BBR, but you could be right depending on the content your talking about. The method outline on the wikipage link would not be a copyright violation of any content, because it is really just linking the uder to the content the publisher provides access to.

I admit that I live in a more urban area now, but back when I was a boy in Kansas, the cow would get pretty upset if you tried to "link the uder" to anything other than a milking machine....

Ethical question: I just now created an index of the BBR v.v.1-18 from the website, but the journals themselves are offered as part of the Theological Journal Library #15. Is it unethical to put up an INDEX of a free online archives of a journal that Logos sells? (If not, I'll post it).

That looks similar to what I have done in the past.
In terms of competeing with Logos, the PB would not come close the the functionality and features of the journals Logos sells. So it would not really compete with their product. If you are concerned about posting it for others to use, email Bob Pritchett ask if it would violate the ethical use of the forums in his mind.

Steve Clark did so much labour in the past along with many other lovely people. I think MJ was doing a lot of work at present!
