0363.LogosCrash.txt
It loads and tries to start then crashes.
I checked the font issue and ran linqpad script with nothing found.

Do you have any other logs?
Please enable Logging ( wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging ) and upload your logs ( wiki.logos.com/Uploading_Logs ) so we can take a look.
Thanks.
0676.LogosCrash.zipBug:
Description : I start Logos and logs in and shows the sweet interface then washes out with the dialog of "Logos 5 has stopped working".
Steps to reproduce : Start Logos and login with logging on and blank workspace
Actual Result : Crashes
Expected Result : Opens
System Specs : Windows 7 x64, 4 GB Ram and plenty of HDD space. I have Office Pro, adobe reader x, itunes, .NET 4, C++ runtimes, Espon scanner all in one, and not much else installed.
My log was attached to the initial post. the Error and logos.txt were blank/empty.
Looks like it cant find the driver to play the sound file. But it worked fine with Logos 4.
How strange that those logs were blank! Do you have full time logging turned on?
On to the problem:
Um. I have nothing.
This is a crash trying to play the startup sound. Unfortunately, I can't think of a workaround to disable the startup sound without launching the application. (Do you have a second computer? If so, you may be able to turn off the "Play Sounds" setting on that machine, and have it sync to this machine with the problem.)
We'll add a fix in the next 5.0 service release.

Is this something that could be changed in the registry, or does Logos not store the "Play Sounds" setting in the registry? This is a setting that I would think people wouldn't want synced between their different machines. I personally keep startup sounds off for all my apps all the time, but I could imagine someone who doesn't mind it at home but doesn't want it sounding at the office where it might annoy others.
