Hey,

I'm thinking about transitioning our small, growing church to Proclaim. My question is primarily financial: will Proclaim always be free (requiring only a license to go live), and will paying the annual license fee entitle us to upgrades and updates made to the software? We're trying to be wise about how to utilize our budget. Basically, we're curious if going with Proclaim will be an investment or if we'll end up getting stung by hidden fees and unaffordable upgrades.

    Hi Matt

    Proclaim is a subscription service - updates are free for subscribers.

    There are some add-ins that you can purchase - the only one that is compulsory (but you will have anyway) is the Christian Copyright Licence.

    Song Select is very useful.

    Other than that I do not subscribe to any of the over service available and find that I have enough resources to run Proclaim satisfactorily.

    There are no hidden fees or surprises. If you use other services such as Planning Center, Graceway, or CCLI SongSelect you may need to pay for their services. We simply provide you the option to link your accounts to Proclaim if you use those services. Planning Center and Graceway both offer a free option to get started. But, you do not need them to use Proclaim effectively. We currently have introductory pricing in place for your On Air license. This will increase at some point based on your church size.
