Every time I open Logos on my iPad I get a notice to update e Lexham English Bible, and every time I update it, but it keeps coming back.
Roger this was a known problem in the prior version of the iOS app. If you haven't done so, update Logos to the latest version (3.0.3)
I have the same issue and I am on version 3.0.3.
Apparently it wasn't fixed or the fix hasn't made it through to us yet. I had the problem and it went away with the last iOS update. Guess that was just luck.
You can see a thread from about a week ago here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/58626.aspx
I am using 3.2.4, a few months on, and still seem to have the same issue ... at least I think it is the same issue ... I cannot remove the LEB from my iPad. Every time I ask it to go, it comes back as a download.
It is not marked for download in the desktop app's library and yet it keeps on appearing. I am not sure that it is overly resource intensive, it just seems strange that there is a resource that I MUST download ... or it is a bug?
I have considered hiding it in the library but seem to remember reading somewhere that the LEB is used to under-pin a whole host of desktop features that I would rather not lose. Is that the case? Would hiding the LEB in the desktop disable desktop functionality?
All I want to do is stop the LEB appearing in my iPad searches, free-up a (tiny) bit of storage, and stop those 'resource to update' messages!!!
Thanks.
I'm not sure. I think it might be a bug… but on your account, rather than on the app. Hopefully Logos will be able to jump in here soon. If not, create a new thread with "bug:" as the prefix.
The LEB is bundled as part of the mobile application. In past versions we bundled the ASV and it too could not be removed. The purpose of bundling is to ensure there is at least one Bible always available when offline. The "resource to update" messages should go away if you stop removing the LEB.
Would hiding the LEB in the desktop disable desktop functionality?
No, but it would break the mobile app (there's an existing case for that issue).

That is helpful to know. I assume that means we can now remove the ASV?
