A5 Crashes Upon Opening The Program

I have just installed A5 and the program opens to a blank home page where 5 seconds later it closes. Any advice? I need help!!

I just installed and finished the indexing. The program does the same thing for me. It starts up and then crashes. It seems to be working for others. Any suggestions?

Crashing is a positive experience in Alpha and Beta testing. Simply start a new thread, report your experience, then attach your logs. If you use the L4 "Mac Alpha" link in my signautre, it will give you instructions on how to report bugs so your experience will help improve the program.

Thanks for each of your responses. I think I figured out the problem. I discarded "layouts.db" from the Logos4>Documents>n6edklpe.lf7>LayoutManager file and tried running the program. It ran just fine afterward. I figured it may be because I have this program installed on a PC and the layouts were transferred to the Mac at install and kept it from running properly. I have been rummaging around to try and figure it out myself. When I find problems that are not addressed on the forum I will send them.

Sorry about the crash. Way to go figuring out the issue, though. If you run into this issue again, please let us know. Although not all of the features are implemented yet on Mac, we try to be defensive about coding as we go so that unimplemented features don't crash the app when syncing from Windows to Mac.
