Can anybody recommend an online forum that is good for those discussing/debating the Bible? I realize this forum is more about the use of Logos rather than discussing Scriptures etc...

That's one of the things that Faithlife is supposed to be good for. Unfortunately it hasn't gained enough traction yet to have a big group of active members discussing any particular topic, and it's impossible to browse for groups you might be interested in joining; you have to know what you're looking for.
They need to add more options like sort search results by number of members, omit groups with zero members, limit search results to a particular geographic area, etc.
I have been looking for an online bible study discussion group for a while now. However, not much is available. I recently joined www.biblediscussions.com. to see what that was all about. So far not much activity with that site either.
I run one called the debate lounge forum.divinesoteriology.com . It is pretty easy to navigate, I broke the forum down like a systematic theology book.
I think that Faithlife has a lot of potential, however, it has not matured yet. I hear that John Fallahee over at Learnlogos.com may be starting a bible study in the near future. I really like his webinars, and you actually feel like you are apart of the group.
