I know that the Apostolic Fathers Reverse Interlinear by Brannan in not yet ready for release, but is there an easy way to check the other new resources in L5 without searching for each one individually in my library?
Thanks,
Ron
I don't think so as there are no notes on the Upgrade page, other than "New to 5".
I went through the "new to Logos 5" for Logos 5 Silver and the only resources I could not find in my library were:
Another thing that made me curious was the resources that are listed as "New to Logos 5", but they were present in Logos 3 Silver and Gold packages. I'm guessing that because they were not in Logos 4 that is the reason they are new to Logos 5.
A couple examples are:

I had an exchange with Phil Gons regarding these very resouces and we continued to disagree. I think it's package inflation.

Thanks for the reminder about the Apostolic Fathers name change. I had read this in the forum about 2 weeks ago, but had forgotten.
Well, George, package inflation is another word for 'marketing'. Consumers respond to 'bulk'.
But the good news, as you saw in another thread yesterday, is the the RI's are probably on their 'last legs' in Logos and will be phased out with Logos6.
The replacement, currently named 'Reverse Visuals' allows viewing the text in reverse. When the idea was first 'surfaced' (similar to a manuscript), the reaction was understandably less than positive.
But 'marketing' once again came through with the obvious use in church, when you want to read the person behind you's computer using a mirror.
You mean like this?
Haha ha! That was funny!

Hard to say with an RI handy (left my mirror on the pew during services).
From the Minimum Crossgrade description page at least these four are still not delivered:
That won't find everything that hasn't been released yet. For one thing there's the BHS with Richter morphology, which is still missing from L4. And the NIV RI, I believe (I find it fascinating that the chart includes the NIV RI, but not the NIV itself...).
Swete's LXX is also supposed to be incomplete.
That's scary! If I upgrade to Silver, do I or do I not get the 2011 NIV English Bible and/or the the NIV RI?

No one gets the NIV English Bible in L5. It is available separately.
The NIV RI New Testament is in all packages Bronze and above. The NIV RI Old Testament is not listed. We are told it is still coming. Those who were in L4 and had the NIV RI were promised the OT when it was done. I don't know how they will handle it for new users in L5.
I hope to get as little of it as possible if I upgrade.
You can always hide what you don't want.
Yeah I'm hiding a large part of my items. But I would rather not support the publishers.

Yes, it is:

That's the big question. I don't think they'll be happy finding out that having two NIV RI files doesn't mean they can use the NIV.
Where is that screenshot from? Here's the upgrades page listing, NIV RI Greek-English NT only:
Interesting. This is what I saw until I just refreshed the page:
Interesting, too. Makes one wonder even more about Logos' plans for the OT RI.
But I would rather not support the publishers
The reverse interlinears are datasets produced by Logos not by Zondervan, you'll be (the only person) happy to know that you won't have the NIV if you upgrade [:)]
