When compiling PBB's under L5, will the book files themselves sync between machines, or will I still have to compile PBB's on each machine I want to use them on?
Thanks!
will I still have to compile PBB's on each machine
Yes, Nathan this is correct.
I "think" the sync for these is planned but as of now must be re-compiled etc.

Thanks. I'll get those compiled on my other machine.

Other option is copying compiled lbspbb resources and use scan command.

True. What would be the quickest way to find the compiled resources? Search my hard drive for .lbspbb?
Nathan:
On my Win 7 machine, the PB resources (along with what appears to be most of the other resources) are in: C:\Users\Robert\Local Settings\Logos4\Data\blah_blah\ResourceManager\Resources
"Robert" is the user and "blah_blah" is different on each computer.
On my Win XP machine, it's C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Logos4\Data\blah_blah\ResourceManager\Resources
Here, "Administrator" is the user and "blah_blah" is different on each computer. You may need to change options to make some of these folders visible, since Microsoft is competing with Apple who can be the biggest Nanny-company and hides a lot of things by default.
I use SyncToy for Win 7 (free from MS) to synchronize the Win 7 folders over to a temp folder on the the XP machine on the same network and run the Scan command specifying the temp folder. If they're not on the same network, Dropbox works well overt the internet.
If you use a Mac, someone else will need to respond with that location.
As you might imagine, this is much faster than recompiling on the target machine. Just make sure L4/L5 is syncing on both machines.
Wiki has resource folder locations on OS X and Windows => http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_Multiple_Macs#Copy_Logos_4_Resources_to_Mac_OS_X
Also has example of using scan command, which copies *.lbspbb files from specified location into Resources folder and indexes PBB for use in Logos.
Thanks both for the info. I'll give it a look and copy those files over.
