How long will the discount period last?
The latest email from Logos Blog "Win Logos 5 and a Windows Surface Tablet!" is the first I've seen since the launch of Logos 5 to point out:
"All Logos 5 base packages are marked down by 15% for launch, and that discount won't be around for long. Don't wait to get connected to the Word - get Logos 5 today."
Can anyone tell me how long the discount period is like to last? I'm trying to save my pennies, but what with Christmas and my wife's birthday just before, I was hoping to wait until after Christmas!

We'd only be guessing. There are quite a few users like you who hope Logos will extend the offer through the first of the year.

I was told by Caleb in Sales. The reason being, I initially upgraded Platinum to Platinum and asked how long I would have to receive the discount if I wanted to upgrade to Diamond. He said L5 discount would be active till February 1st.

That should be a help to quite a few people. I understand Logos wants to sell as much as they can as soon as thy can, but this would be helpful information to some who just can't come up with the money for an upgrade this year.

I totally agree with Mark, many of us want to upgrade but have to budget prudently this side of Christmas. I don't see why the expiry date for discounts can't be freely available.

That's not the same thing. Since You talked with customer service about two different base-packages then for an extended period they honour the discounts You would get now, FOR THAT SPECIFIC base-package Diamond.
There will probably be an official announcment a little in advance of when the offers expire.
My sales-rep did NOT know when the offers expire, but just like in Your case gave me an extended period (in my case 45 days since yesterday) to decide which base-package out of two options that I discussed with him.John M.
