Opening a Bible from Reading Plan open Reading Plan document as well

In http://community.logos.com/forums/t/44738.aspx I described a situation where clicking on a Reading Plan from the Homepage would cause a PG and Explorer window to open as well as the requested resource if the Logos screen was previously blank.
In L5 (5.0a RC1 on Windows) when I do the same thing I get the resource and the Reading Plan document as below
If resources are already open in Logos then clicking on the Reading Plan just gets the expected resource.
Any thoughts on this? Can we just get the resource and not the associated document?
Thanks, Graham

If you click on the cover image in a Reading Plan item on the home page, you are opening the Reading Plan itself, which closes your open panels and opens the resource and plan in question.
If you click on an individual reading in that plan then the program will opt to open the Passage Guide/Resource/Explorer layout, unless you have another panel open. Rather than closing any of your panels, clicking that link will simply open your resource to the desired location.
There have been several cases surrounding this behavior and all have been determined 'by design'.

Hi Tonya
Thanks for responding - but I don't see the behaviour you are describing

If I click on an image in the home page it doesn't close any open documents. If the plan relates to a Bible it opens the Bible and the plan, if it relates to a non-Bible resource it just opens the resource.

With no panels open, clicking on the link opens a Bible and its plan (if a Bible Reading Plan) or just opens the Resource (if a non-Bible plan). It no longer opens the PS/Explorer windows.

I know I have raised some of these issues and with the observed behaviour changing I was just trying to understand the new scenario.
Thanks, Graham

I'm seeing the same thing you're seeing. I'll investigate and write up a case to get this corrected (I know group reading plans should behave as all reading plans seem to be right now.)
