Hello,
You should be able to re-download proclaim here: http://proclaimonline.com/app/download.aspx?
Windows 8 has a similar way of uninstalling than other Windows Operating Systems. You can search the apps for "uninstall" and you should see your options.
What is the error code you are getting?

It's just telling me windows encountered an error and Proclaim will not load. It begins to sync and then shuts down after I get the error message.

It's a "Proclaim Has Stopped Working" Message. After clicking the startup icon.

If it is crashing while syncing, I would love to take a look at some log files to see what the issue might be.
Log files are located in Documents > Proclaim Log Files.
Could you please attach them so we can take a look?

The exact message is "Proclaim" 'Proclaim has stopped working' A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Thank you for the logs; I am having our developers look into the problem. You say you have fully uninstalled and reinstalled the program already, to no avail?

Yes, I've done everything from a complete uninstall an reinstall to system restore. My last resort is a Windows System Refresh but I will wait till I hear back from you since all other programs on our system are working fine. Please let me know what is going on. I can't go another Sunday like this past week.
Thanks

I suspect that one of your local databases may be corrupted. Please try this:
- Go to the folder C:\Users\youruserid\AppData\Local\Proclaim
- Delete the "Data" folder.
- Try to start Proclaim again.
If you can't see the AppData folder, you may need to set the "Show Hidden Folders" to on. You can do this by going to Control Panel > Folder Options > View, and click the "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" radio button under "Hidden files and folders" in the "Advanced Settings" area.
Let me know if this works for you.

Thanks Ann, that worked. what a quick and easy fix. It appears that when you do an UNINSTALL it DOES NOT uninstall EVERYTHING. This is very useful and helpful information to know. I will definitely create a "Shortcut" to this folder for any future mishaps. This info should also be posted on your website under "Support" "Uninstall" or made available to everyone somehow. Especially to the "Proclaim Staff" on this forum. Just in case someone else asks about doing a COMPLETE UNINSTALL. Knowing this would have saved our service on Sunday. Thanks again for all of your help. I am truly grateful for this forum, it is what has kept us as a customer. Thank you all...

I'm glad that worked for you. We are in the process of getting more thorough and detailed information in the Support section of the website, and hope to have that available soon. Until that becomes available, I agree it is useful information to have readily visible on the forums and will see about making a sticky post for it.
