Logos 4 Minimal Crossgrade - Pronunciation Tools?

I see the Logos 4 minimal crossgrade has been added back to the site - http://www.logos.com/product/28576/logos-4-minimal-crossgrade

I had been waiting for this so that I could add the datasets that I was missing since I started with Logos 5. However, I don't see the pronunciation tools feature listed on the page, unless it's called something else. I thought that was going to be included as indicated in this post by Phil Gons. Is that no longer the case? If not, how do I purchase that feature individually? I know it's included in higher base packages, but the starter package/logos 5 minimal crossgrade is more than enough for me at the moment.

Welcome to the Logos Forums. I notice that this is your first post. However, since you quote a post by Phil, perhaps you are not "brand new"????

I do personally have the Greek Audio pronunciation. Came with come of my packages.

To be clear, however, here is a screen shot of what I have .....

Hello Milford. I've been browsing the forums for a little while now, just never posted before [:)]

Unfortunately, that's not what I'm looking for. I came across that previously, but I'm looking for the Greek Pronunciation Addin referenced on this page - http://www.logos.com/product/5960/hebrew-audio-pronunciations. When I click on the link, it tells me that product is no longer sold individually. I did some searching on the forums and found that Logos stopped selling that individually a while back, but still offers it in the higher base packages and maybe the Logos 4 minimal crossgrade?

Here's how it's listed on the Logos 5 upgrade page.

The new cross upgrade will only include the new data sets that come with L5, the Greek Pronunciation Tool was a data set that was introducted way back in the L3 days. Purchasing the cross grade will not get you the data sets from L3 or L4. At this point the only way to get these older data sets is by purchasing a base package.

Hi Andrew! Sorry I'm not a better help to you! I was appointed an MVP just before Logos 5 came out and was on the L5 beta just a short time. I'm hoping one of our other MVP's see this thread and pop in with a good answer for you.

The link you quoted in your post was actually the Hebrew one which will be finished Bob Pritchett said yesterday or today very shortly! If I can find the post I'll put the url into this thread.

I guess we need to know from Logos or another MVP is how much of a package one needs to get this pronunciation feature.

I'm actually talking about the L4 crossgrade which they just recently re-added to the site for purchase. I've already purchased the L5 starter base package and the L5 crossgrade. I knew that wasn't going to get me this Greek pronunciation tool, because it looks like you need a bronze base package or higher based on the chart on the upgrade page.

That said, based on Phil's response to a post that I'm pretty sure was talking about the same pronunciation tool, the "revised" L4 crossgrade would allow recent users to catch up with the features from L3/L4, including the Greek pronunciation tool. Perhaps he misspoke or I'm reading it wrong. I have preordered the Hebrew one, but would love to get the Greek one without having to purchase the Bronze base package (or higher).

I was unaware that the L4 cross upgrade was offered again, however the many jest of the point applies, the only way to get those L3 feature is by purchasing a base package. The Hebrew should work just fine when even it comes out.

I hear you, but Phil's post seems to indicate otherwise - http://community.logos.com/forums/p/58259/425615.aspx#425615. Perhaps Phil or someone else from Logos could confirm this? I'm probably just hearing what I want to hear, but I just don't think it's fair to have to spend another $300 or so just for that one feature.

Looking at a snapshot of the Logos 4 Minimal Crossgrade from 15 Nov 2010 => http://web.archive.org/web/20101115150227/http://www.logos.com/minimalcrossgrade noticed pronunciation tools feature was not listed.

For English Bibles, noticed new "Logos 4" minimal crossgrade only includes "Lexham English Bible" while previously 5 more English Bibles had been included.

For Interlinear Bibles, previously had included NLT with a footnote for future delivery. Noticed new minimal crossgrade specifies NIV 2011 for Interlinear Bibles.

Note: the Old Testament Interlinear for NIV 1984 never finished preparation.

For Bible Reference, the previous Logos 4 Minimal crossgrade included two more resources: Dictionary of Bible Themes and Strong's Concise Dictionary.

The previous Maps, Photos, and Media is now listed under two headings. Noted previous Logos 4 minimal crossgrade included more Maps, Photos, and Media.

The new Logos 4 minimal crossgrade includes more Lectionary resources plus a number of Parallel Passages and Harmonies.

So I ended up getting the revised L4 minimal crossgrade anyways, since I received some credit from Logos for the L5 upgrade pricing issues. I also noticed the price of the L4 crossgrade went down since yesterday! So I got it for very cheap and it seems to include the pronunciation tools I was looking for after all![:)] I noticed it now says I 'own 4 of 6 resources and datasets' for the Pronunciation Tools screenshot I posted earlier from the L5 upgrade comparison page. I'm not sure which 2 I'm missing, but I got what I wanted so I'm happy.
