we just updated to the latest
crawl text and pager not operating in preview or online
also when proclaim is online - how do you utilise the paging and crawl text without going offline

Shawn, I'm not able to reproduce your issue. Can you tell me what OS you are on? Sorry if it sounds obvious, but you do have to press the "enter" key to get the crawl or pager text to appear onscreen.
To utilize the pager and crawl text while On Air, go to the "Preview" mode (you can see the "Preview" link next to the "On Air" button). There you can enter or change your pager or crawl text.

it doesn't allow me to select the crawl text and write into it
regarding on air - in order to access preview I need to escape (esc) on air - won't this interrupt the presentation?
proclaim is now (re)loading the update again?
I am assuming this is an automatic update? (61mb) but I just did this an hour ago!

That's right, you can't select the crawl text on screen.
If you press escape, you will go Off Air; the crawl text can be edited in a separate monitor if you have more than one monitor. If you only have one monitor, you will have to escape to access it.
