Background audio glitches when changing slides

I am having trouble with background audio in that whenever I change slides, there is an audible stutter, or glitch in the audio playback. I am using a 1280x720 JPG still image for a background, no transition, and I am running proclaim on a brand new late-2012 Mac Mini MD388LL with quad-core CPU and 4gb of RAM. The background MP3 is encoded at 192kbps. I have no other apps running in the background on my mac.

Is there anything I can do to improve performance and fix the audio glitches? As it is, I am unable to use this promising feature.

Are you running that audio as a local file or uploading it to our servers?

I have been able to reproduce that issue on my machine, and will alert our developers to the issue.

It appears that this problem is less pronounced when using a transition. Have you tried running that audio background with the Fade transition?
