Just bought new pc with Windows 8 installed. My versión 2.1 Compubiblia disk does not work with Windows 8. Is it possible to download this free from your website or do I have to purchase it again?
Shalom Clare!
What version of Logos Bible Software are you using: Libronix (= Logos 3), Logos 4, or Logos 5?
The software on the Compubiblia disk is probably Libronix which is no longer supported (though for Windows 8 see this thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/61297.aspx )
Logos 4 and Logos 5 should work with Windows 8, and you can download the Logos 4 engine for free from the Logos website:

Thank you for your reply. I haven´t a clue what versión I´m using! It´s Compubiblia Edición Profesional versión 2.1 compatible with MS Windows 95-98 so quite old though worked with Windows Vista. I´ll try and download the App for Logos 5 and seeiif it will work with that. Otherwise I don´t mind paying for another copy but don´t know if this disk is still available? Basically want to use KJV and Strongs Greek and Hebrew, a Greek text and Spanish texts. Any ideas?

You don't have to buy another copy! That's the great thing about Logos: you never have to buy Logos (including Compubiblia) titles more than once! Just read the following text from the Logos Website (logos.com/faq):
We offer free updates to the software to keep our promise that you’ll never have to pay twice for your books, and that the software to read your books on new versions of your operating system will be free. You don’t pay for updates at all, and depending on how long you have been using Logos Bible Software, you have probably already received dozens of free updates since your initial purchase.
You might be unaware of this, but you can read most of the books from your Compubiblia disk on an iPad or an android phone without any additional cost. I don't own a smartphone but through the website www.biblia.com I have online access to most of the Logos titles I own, including e.g. Reina-Valera, Nuevo Comentario Bíblico, Léxico Hebreo-Español, Atlas Bíblico, etc., etc.
I´ll try and download the App for Logos 5
At this moment you can only download Logos 4 for free. Logos 5 has been released just a few months ago and the free update will become available as a download later this year (Logos is a business after all). Logos 4 will however also work on Windows 8.
I´ll try and download the App for Logos 5 and seeiif it will work with that.
If you encounter any problems just ask on the forums!
Did you synchronize your licences with the Logos server? You can do this in the old Compubiblia (Libronix) program when you go to Tools > Library Management > Backup Licenses. Alternatively you can send a mail to Logos and ask them to activate the Compubiblia disk for you in Logos 4 (or 5). In that case you would need the activation code of your original Compubiblia disk.
Thank you very much for your comprehensive reply!
I do have an ipad so once I get this sorted will endeavour to use it on that though prefer to study on laptop (easier on the eyes!).
Thanks for the heads up re Logos 4 and 5.
My Compubibila disk was a gift from the States, I didn´t download it originally. I never copied it on my old pc (which has died) which was unavailalble so continued just using the disk with no updates - didin´t know it was available! So have no licence and Windows 8 does not read this disk so I guess I could send a mail to Logos and see what they say. Thanks anyway!
I want to contact technical help via email but not so simple. Don´t want to phone, blog or use this fórum just simply email but so complicated on Logos site that can´t find out how to do it. How do I send a simple email to tech help in Logos about my compubiblia problema? Thanks
