Creating Templates

Is there a way to create your own templates for songs or content slides?

I like the fact that I can create styles that I can easily use when editing text. However, if I switch the background to the song it goes back to what I'm assuming is the default mode for songs. 

Also, is there a reason songs have more editing options than content? It would be nice to be able to have the text editing abilities that songs have for content.

There is currently no explicit functionality to create and save templates; however, you can reuse previous styles and customizations you have created by reusing items. Under the "Add Item" menu, on the right hand side, you will see the "Reuse Items" column. This contains service items you have previously made. By selecting one of these, you'll get one of your previous service items containing all your previous style customizations, and you can simply change the text. 

Another workaround people often use when they want to reuse the style of an entire presentation is to simply create a presentation with all the customizations they want, and then duplicate that presentation. You can duplicate a presentation by going to the "Open" menu, right clicking the presentation you want to duplicate, and selecting "Duplicate Presentation". If your "template" presentation is blank, it's even easier, just fill in the text you want for each service item.

As to your question regarding text customization capabilities, we are working on getting some more customizations for Content service item text.
