Re-Download Logos 4 or too late?
I have a new computer and needed to redownload Logos4. Is it too late and am I now forced to upgrade to Logos5? Every search leads me to "Upgrade to Logos5".

You can download it from here. http://www.logos.com/support/logos4/install choose your operating system.

You can install Logos 4, no need to upgrade. You can avoid downloading resources if you use Method 3 of Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers on the Logos wiki (or search for Quick Installation on the wiki).

I just got a new computer and have not yet upgraded to 5.
I am able to download the Logos4Setup.exe, however, when it goes through it's 'installation process' it continually returns the error "The Installation of the Logos 4 prerequisites did not succeed."
It downloads the 22MB for the 'prerequisites installer' just fine, but for most of the other things it pretends to download 0 of 0MB.
I assume this is a problem generated with the server switch to Logos 5?
Anyone got any ideas?

Hello Tim,
This usually occurs because the Windows Installer is already in use (often by Windows Updates). Rebooting the computer may resolve the issue entirely.
If that doesn't work, it may be best to call in for support and we can take a closer look at the problem.

Thank you, Mike, for your quick and accurate reply. It was indeed Windows Updates preventing the installation. A simple reboot and we're flying right along.
