BUG? or my lack of fine motor skills?

I am trying to make a bilingual tree-form sentence diagram.
I imported John 1:1 from the NRSV in flow format as I want the sentence to appear in a single line with normal spacing.
I inserted the tree diagram element and adjusted it to fit "the beginning". However, when I tried to do the same for "the Word" I seemed to have hit a limit on how acute the angle could be.
Is there really such an (inconvenient) limit or is the problem with the chair to mouse interface (namely, me)?

Could you post a screenshot of what you are working on? I tried to replicate the issue and either can't reproduce it or don't fully understand what you are trying to do. Thank you!

On the lower version, I am trying to make the angle narrow (acute) enough to match standard sentence spacing. I can not get beyond the point marked with the arrow..

Thank you. I'll pass the question on to Development to investigate whether or not this limitation is arbitrary.
