I use NASB mostly- have notes that show in it, and only it- ESV, NRSV, etc, my notes do not show even though they are chosen to do so.
Whyndell - Just for clarification: Are you sure that these notes were attached to the reference and not to the selection? Also, you have made sure the right note file has been turned on for each resource?
Are you sure that these notes were attached to the reference and not to the selection?
After looking at your screen shot more carefully, I can probably verify that they were indeed attached to the selection, and not to the reference. If you want them to show up in other translations, the note must be attached to the reference. It appears that you may have been confused about how to do this since you highlighted the verse number… The give away to me (how I can verify that you chose "selection") is because of that highlighting (highlighting is unavailable for notes by reference). The only way I could be wrong is if you actually have two separate notes (one for the highlighting [by selection], another for the note icon [by reference]).
In my screen shot below, I have selected "reference" tab on the right hand side.
So hiliting the verse # does not attach it to the verse? Thats crazy!!!
If you don't hilite the verse # your note could end up anywhere on the page or header.

The notes icon itself does reflect the reference:
True - but you get this whether or not the note was created by reference or by selection.

No - right-clicking anywhere in the verse and selecting "Reference" will put the note icon at the beginning of the verse (or in some cases at the beginning of the pericope if the verse is the first in the pericope)
Ok there is an issue with trying to attach a note to 1:1 it wants to attach itself to the headings/ sub-headings in the bible- past that I see if you right click on the verse # (and you really have to be on it) it offers a selection of "selection or reference", select reference when you create note.
Thats if I follow you correctly.
I have thousands of notes that will not show in other bible versions- how could I miss something so simple.
Funny thing is I believe I use to do it that way- but some how got off the straight and narrow way, on to the wide way- hey read that some where:)

I did right click on "bond-servant" in Jude 1- added to reference and it puts it on the subheading- this is why I started hitliting the verse.

Yes, this is a long-standing issue which I would really appreciate if Logos were to fix

you don't need to be on the verse number to get the selection / reference choices.
In the example below I right-clicked on the word "you"
When I added the note by reference the icon appears at the beginning of verse 2
From discussions on the forums I see people who prefer one way or the other - but it is certainly good to know there are the options[:)]

Understood (and as above I wish Logos would fix this) - but the only way to get notes to show up in multiple translations is to use the Reference option.
Appreciate the help- cleared up some fog- maybe one day they will have a function that allows you to switch a set of notes from selection to reference where they are used in your bibles.
Right now I have at least 5 sets I will have to - over time- redo to reflect the reference selection.
Appreciate the help
You are very welcome

That would be nice[:)]
I've got some similar work to do - in my case related to how notes are best used in mobile apps which I didn't take into account when I started creating them on the desktop!
