This has happened to me now twice: this week and last week and is getting pretty embarrassing.
I go to church early and make sure the presentation is loaded up. I start it and project to make sure that all is go. I have to preach at another church first so I then come back about a half an hour before service is to begin. I use proclaim just for the sermon which is the last half hour. When I got there today at 10:30, it wasn't working. I closed the program and started it up again and it worked. I control the presentation with two separate iPads and have not had a problem in the past. I had to reload Proclaim on the iPads to get them connected. It all worked fine. We go on with the service and when it is time for me to preach, Proclaim is not functioning. I had to get the sound tech to restart the program and he had to control it from the sound board because I couldn't get the iPad to reconnect and control the program.
I don't think it is internet related. Because Proclaim can work from the laptop with no internet connection and last week, after the service ( I couldn't use the program much to my embarrassment) I tried to click on the computer and it would not load advance the slides. Like this week, I shut down Proclaim and reloaded it and it worked.
I just cannot have these kinds of things happening during the service. Dead air is not good and neither is the fact that this church has just spent $20K on a video projection system that has failed two weeks in a row due to my selection of presentation software.
Please advise on what could be the problem. I notice someone else included logs. If you need them, where do I find them...on the projection computer or any computer?
Thank you. Please restore my faith in this software! I love Logos and it is the main reason I choose Proclaim. If I can't solve this, I will have to choose another presentation software to save face for the congregation.
