I've noticed a change in how Vyrso books display

5.0b RC-2 (Win)

Headings are now in color and the line spacing is different than in Logos edition books. I don't like the differences. I want all my books to have the same look and feel regardless of whether they are Logos books or Vyrso:

Logos edition book on the list; Vyrso eBook on the right. Both tabs are set to the exact same display settings (default font size, columns = none, no visual filters on). I have Line Spacing set to Normal in Program Settings (but that setting doesn't appear to affect Vyrso books at all -- a bug?)

Is there any way I can make the Vyrso headings display in black (my Windows font color) as I think they used to and as they do in Logos books?

If not, register this as a request for change -- either a return to all text displaying in the text color setting in Windows, or a UI setting to change this. Don't force it on me. Thanks!

The line spacing is definitely a problem in Vyrso books and needs to be fixed. The colour must be a per-book think. Most of my Vyrso books have black headings, and those that have colours tend to have different colours from on another.

Thanks for making us aware of these instances. We've made a fix to the resource you referenced above and you'll notice the updates once you've downloaded the updated resource (if it was downloaded to your device).

The heading is blue because it is a hyperlink that jumps back to the table of contents. This back linking is very common in the EPUBs we receive from publishers and isn't something we will likely change in the near future.

Thanks. Does this (I assume you're talking about the line-spacing problem) have to be fixed on a resource-by-resource basis? It appears to be happening in all Vyrso books. They all appear to ignore the "Line spacing" selection in Program Settings.

You are correct, it would have to be fixed on a resource-by-resource basis, except for new ebooks that are converted (we have applied a fix to our converter). We believe that the line spacing smarts that we added to our display engine are being overridden by line spacing information in the EPUBs. We are exploring this issue further and believe it may only be seen in L5,

Hmm, seems that the line spacing smarts could be made smarter so as not to allow themselves to be overridden by line spacing info in the EPUBs. I.e., the display engine comes later in the flow-chart, so whatever it wants to do should trump what is in the input file.
