Upgrade version from 2.3.4 (Build 46) to latest version on Kindle Fire HD

Can anyone help me with why I cannot uprade my version of FSB even though it says it is available? I am hoping this upgrade will sync my reading plan with my Logos 5 on PC and Kindle.
