L5 crashed while syncing. When exiting, The pop-up appeared mentioning the sync process. Some time later it was still there
The menu on the dock icon had moved from 'Quit' to 'Force Quit'.

The forum software has just crashed on me while reporting the sync bug.
I have an apple error report that goes with it. Trying to upload that (copied into a text editor and saved as .txt) produced an error message that the filetype 'is not valid'.
The font of the edit became corrupt (see picture) and although I could type, my typing was not posted ... nothing that I typed after the file type error was posted.
I will try the image of the corrupt editor first ...
Inserting the text file again just resulted in the same error message and the corruption (and loss) of all the text before the attempted insert ... hence the blank post.
The error message looked like this:
I have compressed the text file into a zip file ...

Which seems to have worked!
