Does Proclaim have the capability to show specific sections of a DVD during worship? We use sections from the Visual Bible on weekends. I know that some of the other presentation softwares allow you to do that. Any hints? Thanks!

With the advent of technology, wouldn't it be better and less prone to glitches with the DVD interface (spin-up and such) to just convert those to video files and play them from the computer? In our situation, I rarely ever play DVDs. Most people just bring video files on a flash drive and we upload them to Proclaim. It's much easier to deal with those. If you want to convert your DVDs to video files, you could always use Handbrake. Google it and start converting away.
I agree with Josh's solution to this - it is easier to deal with clips if they are standalone sections. However I would recommend iMovie for cutting and pasting the clip to Proclaim.
It would be great if we were given a flash drive with the clip they want, but most of the time they bring a DVD and want to play it. Sometimes using software to "extract" the clip is not that easy.
I also agree with Josh. I rarely, if ever, use DVD. However, I use video clips often in preaching and teaching. Wondershare Video Converter has worked very well for me to convert a clip from a DVD to another video format.

I was searching the Proclaim site to try to sort out some issues, and one thing I don't know how to do is use little video clips in presentations - anyway, I came across this post from you. Does Wondershare allow you to just use snippets of a video clip and save them? Their on-line manual doesn't say anything about it - just converts the whole thing.
I guess I could load it into my video editor (Premiere Pro), grab a chunk of it and save it as a short quicktime video - and on that note, what video format do you find easiest to use?

We have proclaim 11.5, is there a way of arranging icons i.e. todays cases and favourites into alphabetical order?
