Personal Books across multiple computers
My wife and I share a single license for Logos (as they allow) and everything works fine (ok - she has the NASB as the default bible and I like the ESV but I can live with that).
Today I built the two personal books on her laptop that I had created on mine over the weekend and discovered that I can no longer open them on my laptop. Logos support suggested rebuilding which is when I found the problem.
The personal book source files MUST be saved in a folder with the exact same path on both computers. If that is not the case then the personal book will work on the last computer on which the build was successful.
It appears that while the personal book does not sync to the Logos cloud, at least some information such as the source file location for the personal book does.
Currently waiting for a response from Logos support on what I discovered.

You are correct - the actual books themselves do not sync but metadata associated with them does.

So as long as the source files are in the exact same path on all computers then the metadata sync will not cause a problem but the books themselves need to be built on each computer for them to work.
For me this is a logical disconnect. Either sync all the info or none but partial causes challenges. Yet another example of the law of unintended consequences :-)

Correct

A problem which syncing none would cause is that you would then need to enter all the details again into the PB tool

True but I could live with that.
However now that I understand the requirements I can work with them. It was just not understanding the basic requirements caused unnecessary challenges on my part.

One other factor that if you want the same PB on both, is to get the *.lbspbb from one resources file and copy it to the other computer. Sync the one that it was created on first and then close the program., once you have it copied then sync the second. On the second you should be able to read it. Here's a thread:
