Just taking a quick look here and nothing definitive from me.
Have you tried booting to a blank layout? If not see if that works. There's an item in the error message about a floating window preference migration strategy. Booting to a blank layout may help resolve this, though I'm not sure this is the problem. In fact it may have nothing to do with a floating window, but rather the syncing of preferences (actually that's my first guess). But booting to a blank layout is a good and cheap way to rule out one possibility.
Yes, the Logos level 2 tech tried opening a blank layout. Then she renamed my Documents folder and did a repair. It seemed like that was working, though my computer is slow, and she got impatient when the synchronization was taking a long time, and clicked the open now button, then it crashed again, saying Logos 4 has stopped. I don't know if the sync would have completed if we left it, so I didn't complain about her clicking the open now button.
Are you able to do a remote session to troubleshoot this issue?
Richard doesn't work for Logos… He and I are "MVP" forum volunteers… Unless someone with more "tech cred" comes along, your best bet might be to call Logos back again. Sorry. [:(]

Your best bet is to wait for a techie to show up. I think you may have a corrupt DB file, and my need to reindex… but I think you should wait for more solid advice. [:)]
This should be fixed with the beta that shipped yesterday. Upgrading to 4.6c beta 2 should fix the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.Regards,
