The index of The Open Bible opens as new small window rather than opening the resource to the appropriate location.
Each item in this index is referenced in multiple places throughout the resource, so it would be difficult to link to a particular location.
For example, at this location logosres:openbibl;ref=Bible.Le2.13;off=129 , I see the "Old Testament Offerings" article referenced in three different places. The pop-up view is the same in the resource text itself.

You've lost me. Are you saying that the index of charts references items not in the resource? That appears to be the case but that is incredibly strange (and unuseful).

No, I'm sorry I wasn't more clear. The screen shot below displays what I described in my previous post. It shows that the "Old Testament Offerings" article appears twice within this portion of The Open Bible resource. The links in the resource text behave the same way as the links in the index, showing the chart as a popup.
One problem I see with this arrangement is that it appears the page cannot be printed using the usual tools provided within LOGOS. I can copy and paste but that bypasses the options that the LOGOS print tools provides.
Good point, Floyd.
Also it's just plain odd that such major content is relegated to popup windows instead of relying in the flow of the surface text somewhere, as in the print edition. You ought to be able to page down through the entire book and see these things as you browse through the book. There ought to be a fixed place in the book to jump to when you click on anything that looks like a link (including and especially a table of contents entry). You can always get back to where you were by clicking the back button. I don't see any good design reason for having implemented these as essentially just footnotes. It wouldn't matter how many places in the resource link to that location (Kelly's explanation for why it's this way).
I don't have the book, but from what I understand, I agree with Rosie.
Also, I'm wondering if the author/publisher has really agreed to this? If I were them I'd be upset.

Too late to edit my post. I meant residing in the flow of the surface text. Brain glitch.
I agree with Rosie.

Thank you for the report. This resource has been produced when our standards were a bit different, so that is why you are seeing the behavior you are seeing. I've made a note about this problem, and we will address it at some point in the future.
