From the blog, the following types of resources were suggested for prioritization:
- Bibles
- Commentaries
- Bible dictionaries
- Hebrew dictionaries
- Greek dictionaries
- Daily devotionals
- Lectionaries
Is this a complete list of where Logos uses the priority list? I'm assuming that other language dictionaries also use priority lists
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

If you can perform a lookup for a word (any language) or reference then the resource can be usefully prioritised. Another way is to see that the resource has Indexes (per its Information page) on something other than Volume or Page #.Type is not a 100% reliable indicator because e.g. some monographs can be usefully prioritised, but you are looking at Bible, Encylopedia, Concordance, Lexicon, Dictionary, Commentary, Notes, Apparatus, Lectionary, Harmony & Cross-Reference.In terms of importance and grouping for use in Passage Guide particularly:- Bible
- Encylopedia / Concordance
- Dictionary (non-bible words)
- Lexicon (by language)
- Commentary / Notes (by Collections used in PG)
- Apparatus
- Lectionary
- Harmony
- Cross-Reference.
