Hi Richard! Welcome to the forums. Sorry you are having troubles. [:S]
I am not a full fledged techie... I took a look at your logs and it looks to me like perhaps your index database file is corrupt... but I am not sure about that. Hopefully someone will come along soon to give more directions.
Out of curiosity: Did you notice that a new version came out today? Did you try updating to it manually?

It looks like the ResourceManager database was somehow corrupted. If you rename the file ResourceManager.db located at /Users/shelleysaunders/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/2ipkklty.9bq/ResourceManager/ResourceManager.db, it should start working again. Start-up time might be a little slower as it will need to rediscover resources but it shouldn't take too long.Richard Saunders said:0243.Logos4Logs.shelleysaunders.20130319-162028.zip

After you rename it, it would be very beneficial for us if you could send an email to logosfeedback@logos.com with the renamed ResourceManager.db file attached, so we could take a look and see what happened. If you reference my name in the email it should make its way to me.

I have a mac and as of yesterday my Logos 4 fails to open. Is this the same problem listed above? What is it I need to do with my mac?

As Seth suggested, you will need to post logs. The symptom (crash) can come from any number of causes. The only way to know which one is to "look under the hood."

I know Seth gave you a link to the wiki… but THIS page might be more helpful.

Noticed wiki => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Mac includes link from Logos support page => http://www.logos.com/support/logos5/mac/logging to download Logos Logging Utility => http://www.logos.com/media/tech/LogosLogging.zip
Keep Smiling [:)]
