Cannot reinstall

I receive error messages when I try to install Logos 5. I am told the earlier version could not be removed.
I receive an error message when I try to remove Logos 4 telling me that I need the original CD-ROM.
One thing I do notice is that the Logos install programs seems to belooking in C:-Users .... etc but I have configured Windows 7 to place the User files in the D drive.
What I need is to totally delete Logos 4 and Logos 5 and start afresh.
I have copied the resources.
What can I do to kill Logos and start afresh?

The earlier post seems to be incomplete.
Here it is again ....
Dave suggested I reinstall Logos5 using Method 3. I knew this would be risky and i was right.
I cannot uninstall Logos and i cannot reinstall it. Always an error message.

Where was Logos installed (where did you get the Resources from) -->
\Logos 4\Logos4?
When you look in the Registry (Regedit.exe) at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Logos4 what is the path listed against InstallDirectory in the panel on the right?
What "User files" did you redirect to
e.g. was it C:\Users\Stephen\AppData\Local\?

Whilst that info may be useful, you can try to resolve this issue with Microsoft Fixit.

Dave,
There is some method in my madness. I installed an SSD as my C-drive and did a fresh install of Win7-64. because the SSD is small I installed L5 on the D-drive, and set WEindows to locate all USER files on the D-drive as well.
The L5 USER files are in
\User.
I will try FIXIT.

Dave,
I have tried FIXIT and the program did whatever it is supposed to.
But I still can't install L5. Whether I try to install into my D-drive or let the SetUp program install typically I receive the same error message ...

From your earlier description, this sounds like it could be a different problem than before.
Does http://community.logos.com/forums/t/58976.aspx help you with this?

Is
\ a local drive? Does the error actually prevent you from installing the application? If it seems to finish you might just need to make your own shorcut to the Logos application icon.
