Vyrso's Daily Devotionals on Logos

I bought some daily devotionals on Vyrso, and was hoping to read them on my Logos 5, but these resources weren't divided into day-to-day reading "chapters", so Logos couldn't display these devotionals on my homepage.

Any ideas/suggestions on how I can use these Vyrso daily devotionals the way they are intended to be read?

AFAIK, Vyrso generates only resources of type:monograph which do not work. This is due to the automatic production process. One thing you can do is to extract the text into a Word document (*.docx), add necessary data tags for the days and recompile as PB with the correct type. I know I did this once as an experiment when PB was new to L4.

Mick is right… Since most Vyrso resources are automatically converted, they haven't had any tagging added to them to enable the devotional feature. I do have one potential work around, which may or may not work to your satisfaction...

You can try creating a reading plan. Depending upon how the resource ended up getting compiled, it might work great… or not. If you can give us the name of a devotional, I can check if I have it to help you troubleshoot.

    For the reading plan:

Try to count or compute how many days of readings there are (ex. 365 for a full year devotional) .  Add to that the number of additional sections there are in the table of contents (title page, preface, contents, appendix, etc.)

Use the total to estimate the number of days/sessions for your reading plan.  If you aren't sure, add a few extra.

Then generate the plan and look at it in list or calendar view.  If there are days without readings then edit the plan and reduce the number of sessions.  If there are days with more than one calendar reading then edit the plan and add sessions.
