Resource updates without restarting Logos?

A couple of times during the 5.1 beta LogosIndexer has downloaded, installed and indexed resource updates without needing to restart Logos... I haven't noticed anything about it in any of the release notes — is this a 5.1 improvement or did I just not notice it before? [:)]

I have experienced this a number of times, going back to L4. I have never received a satisfactory explantation.
