It kept you from consulting extra dictionaries since you only needed the complete word study dictionaries.
I never use this resource and am puzzled as to how far back you are going in describing its behavior. If I used it, I would be inclined to see if advanced prioritization got the behavior you want. But I am pleased to be reminded of Damian.
I think the real issue here is that they changed the original format of a resource without telling us. Moving away to other formats with other Bibles is fine, but a resource lost its unique functionality when it didn’t really have to.

The L3 --> L4 had many functional changes -- one loss that I still miss.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Then I guess the “keeping resources as close to the print version as possible” is an argument that’s used only when it’s convenient. Vine’s expository dictionary still has the Strong’s number just like the print version.
Anyway, maybe FL shouldn’t make promises they can’t keep with features and original resources.

Since I have never used the resource - paper or electronic, L3 or L4+ - I have no knowledge of the details of this particular case.
