How do I use under different account on same pc without using "same resources" please?

I would like to try the Beta 5.1 version under Windows and be notified when there are newer versions to install, but am concerned about this note that I should not permit the new beta install under the new account on the same machine to use the same resources?
How do I make certain the new beta install under a new name on the same computer - does NOT use the same resources please?
phew...I am tired just trying to get that out....
blessings,
joshua

By default, Logos installs to user specific folder. If choose to use custom install, then choose different folders. Trying to share one set of resource files between Logos 5 and 4 installations is problematic.
On a Windows 7 laptop, have 3 copies of many resource files: one for Logos 5.1 Beta 9, one for Logos 4.6c Beta 9, and one for Libronix 3.0g
Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers that includes resource file locations.

Learning Greek provides more nuanced meaning to its "Greek" to me.
With some Logos replies mentioning Logos 5.1 Release Candidate 1, anticipate stable 5.1 release soon, possibly later this month.
Logos 5.1 Beta 8 and 9 were primarily bug fix releases.

Joshua,
Just install the beta version directly in your new account. Sign in using your regular Logos user ID. You can then either have Logos download all your resources, files, etc. to that new account or you can use the information in Method 2 found here http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers to locate and copy your data and documents from the current installation to the new one, saving the download and indexing time. When you open the beta installation it may want to download data and resources specific to the beta and do an indexing.

I'm not totally sure this would work, but you could consider partitioning your disk and having a different version in each partition. Dave, how about that?

Wiki => http://wiki.logos.com/The_Logos_5_Beta_Program includes links to RSS feeds, which are updated with Logos 5 releases.
Along with RSS update, wiki recent changes => http://wiki.logos.com/recent.aspx includes release notes. For example, Logos 5.1 => http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_5.1
Also Logos posts release availability. Release candidate availability is posted in Logos 5 and Logos Desktop Beta forums.

Personally have partitioned hard disk, see reply => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/24555/295852.aspx#295852 so have F (Fast), C (Windows), M (Medium), and S (Slow) partitions, which reflect physical transfer speeds. Learned placing Windows page file on F: affected overall Windows performance.
After adding a SATA III Solid State Disk (SSD), changed F: to G: (Go Fast). Windows page file is on G: drive. Copied Logos 5 folder from G: to F: and have experienced Logos 5 being noticeably more responsive with SSD.
Custom installation allowed folder destination to be specified:
Logos 5.1 Beta 9 => F:\Xairete\Logos5
Logos 4.6c Beta 9 => C:\LRS\Logos 4
Libronix 3.0g => M:\Libronix DLS
Thankful for option to run Logos 5 and Libronix 3 at the same time when logged into standard user: Xairete. Likewise can run Logos 4 and Libronix 3 at the same time when logged into standard user: Logos4. When logged in as administrator user, can only run Libronix 3.
Note: Xairete is in Philippians 4:4 and LRS is an abbreviation for Logos Research Systems.
