Proclaim syncing mid presentation problem

Hi all,

Twice in our service in recent months Proclaim has tried to sync mid presentation at church for some reason. This is usually fine but the wi-fi we are connected to is temperamental and slow some times and it freezes the presentation. This happened Sunday half way through a song which meant we were without lyrics for a few minutes which was a real pain.

We don't need Proclaim to try and sync mid service as we run through everything beforehand to make sure last minute changes made in the cloud by the team are all there. Is there any way we can set Proclaim so it doesn't automatically try to sync while we have an "On air" presentation?

If you don't use signals or webpage items you can safely disconnect from the net before going on-air in order to avoid that.

Otherwise, there isn't a way to prevent sync from occurring at this time.

Matt,

There issue with the blank slides might not have been from a sync. Unless there are changes made from other clients a sync should have no effect. I have a few questions to help narrow down the problem.

Is your presenting computer a Mac or PC?
Was anyone in your group making changes to the presentation on another computer while you were on air?
Were there any changes made locally while on air?

If you notice this happening again could you please post the log files from Proclaim after the service is over.

Thanks for your help to answer your question

1. It is a Mac and you get the wheel of death (the spinning colored circle come up)

2. No one would have been making changes while on air.

3. I'm pretty sure not.

I will post the log files if it happens again.

One more question, sometimes when I'm uploading a lot of photo's like I did the first time this happened I choose sync online. Would there be a benefit not to sync it so it doesn't try to sync them again mid service?
