"The best book I have read this millenium" is on Vyrso!
No, this is not the exclamation of a mid-western housewife home maker about the latest Amish romance novel (indicating rather someone who reads approx one book per decade), but this is well-known Baptist blogger Wade Burleson's verdict about a book on the kingdom of God. He put his review onto his blog as "A must have book" - and he really really makes a compelling case for going out and buying it (he lifts it over ten thousand historical books in his library and head over shoulders of the contemporary stuff!)
The book, by the way, is written by a professor Streett at Criswell College, Dallas, and endorsed by not only Wade, but also by people as diverse as Ed Stetzer and Brian McLaren. I immediately checked for a Kindle version (bad habit, I know) and found it's below ten dollars at Amazon. Search for it yourself if you want to read the customer reviews (all of them give five stars). There seems to be no ePub version at alternative retailers, so (better habit) I checked Logos.com (no hit) and finally Vyrso.com - and it's not only here, it's even cheaper than elsewhere!

I know that some people like to make fun of Vyrso and claim it's just Amish romances (actually there are only 242 hits for "Amish" in a catalog of over 12 thousand books), and I normally wouldn't look at these, but I tend to take 95% of all free books offered here (no, I'm a slight bit more discerning regarding free Kindle books) and found this one a nice read with more to it.
But Vyrso is much more, I think only one third of my Vyrso books are fiction at all - and occasionally, real gems are among the Vyrso offerings. If "Heaven on Earth" lives up to what the reviewers say (and the look-into pages from Amazon I read), it's definitely one of them.

Based on the excerpts I read at Amazon.com "Look Inside!" after signing in with my account, I think Wade Burleson's praise is a bit hyperbolic. I suspect the book is somewhat of an outgrowth of this, which is from his bio page at Criswell.edu: "Kingdom-Driven Evangelism." Peer-evaluated paper given at the Academy for Evangelism in Theological Education national meeting, Washington, DC, October 2005.
When I did a Logos search for the uses of "gospel" and its related lemmas (euaggelion, etc.), it became apparent that the terms were often connected with "kingdom" (and hence "King"), and thus any proclamation of the Gospel needs to relate to the Kingdom and its King if it's to be faithful to Jesus' message. For many people whom I know this is not a new idea or new understanding of the New Testament or the Bible, though maybe for Streett and many of his salvation-oriented fellow Baptists it is.
Though I haven't finished it yet, it might share a lot with Scot McKnight's The King Jesus Gospel (or maybe it doesn't; I didn't see McKnight's name listed in the chapter Notes at the end).
