Beta 5 just downloaded.
I wonder what is new?
Beta 5 just downloaded. I wonder what is new?
Yes, but I can't see any new features. Trust lots of bug fixes are included.
So, what's the story Bradley?
At least one promise has been delivered on. LIX/LSF resources no longer crash the Beta.
Doesn't cause an error every time I close the window in Windows 7.
The TAB-order when a bible window is open is changed. Now first press on TAB-key set focus in passage box and highlight passage reference.
Thanks Bradley and team!
Is THIS new? The "export to excel" function on the Analysis view?
New since beta 3...
While I haven't experienced the crashes some of you have experienced (I'm glad they have gone by the wayside this Beta) I did notice that I did not receive an error message regarding a misplaced shortcut link to the .exe. Other than that, it really does seem like each Beta release is making the program a bit more responsive (not so sluggish). BTW - I have noticed that my notes are being displayed as quickly as I'm typing (about 60 wpm).
That's funny, Mitch, because I did receive that missing shortcut error message, and I don't remember having seen it before. I'd love to know what's new, though.
I'm running beta 4 for the moment and when I start up Logos 4 it tells me that it's trying to do 36.2Mb of downloads but the download never happens, the pop-up just stays at 0%. Downloading and running the updater from Logos.com doesn't help - it just says it can't find a needed script. "Update now" doesn't seem to do anything either.
Any ideas how I can get to Beta 5?
I've had this happen to me before. Restarting my computer fixed it - hopefully a restart will work for you as well.
I saw that! Time to explore!
Re-booting did the trick. Thankyou!
What happened to our release notes this time?
I'm sure the release notes are coming... aren't they?

We just like seeing you speculate about what's new, so we held them back a day. (Just kidding.)
Hmmm...., you guys of all people should know that those of us that study the bible don't have a sense of humor.
