"Sorry that reference could not be located" message
I downloaded the Logos Bible App on my Ipad only to find out that I can't use passage guides or Text Comparison functions. When I attempt to use them I get a "Sorry that reference could not be located" message. In other words, I can use the app to read books and write notes but that's about it (which is disappointing)!
I usually use the LSG Bible version which is French but I also get the same message on NIV and other Bible versions.
Can someone help fix this?

Hi Martin - and welcome to the forums.
When you are trying to run PGs or do text comparison, are you online or offline?
These functions are carried out on Logos servers and displayed on the mobile device.

Sorry for the delay.
It happens on any verse and in any version.

Can you give some screen shots? Is your UI French, or English?

Hi, Martin
Can you please try the workaround in the following post:

Maybe you can get the Passage Guide to work until development team could find an sollution to this very annoying issue.
EDIT: The link doesn't seem to work. Title of the post is: "Workaround to pass thru the iOS Passage Guide BUG"

If you add a space after the link, it will auto recognize.
Hi Alabama
I think you were intending to reply to a different thread - maybe http://community.logos.com/forums/t/72433.aspx

My Ipad UI is French.
Here's the screen shot you requested.
I just realized PG and Text comparaison feature only worked when a French Bible book name was used. It then changes it to a French book abreviation. So a manual PG can be performed using French book names regardless of the Bible translation language. Swiping-up is useless for the moment as it doen't seem to know what to do with the English book reference the swiping generates.

I had the same problem about a year ago. I switched to English as the 'preferred language' on the Ipad OS. That solved the problem - I don't know why it only works with English. I think there has been a discussion about this problem before here on the forums but I haven't got a link.

This is a known issue and a case was written up three months ago but it is not yet fixed. Currently these are the language settings that don't work: French, Portuguese, Dansk, Svenska, Cestina, and Bahasa Indonesia. All of the rest work as far as I know.
