The TOC of The Digital Invasion: How Technology is Shaping You and Your Relationships has page numbers in it which are links that take you to the page where that chapter or section starts.
But you cannot turn on page numbers in this book.
Rosie - Vyrso books are nearly fully automated in the conversion process and nearly all don't have page numbers. I am fairly certain that the page numbers you see in the TOC are an artifact of the print copy. The page number links were likely in the original (just like you can do in the PBB).
Something similar can be seen in the index of some Kindle books, where the publisher adds something like "These page numbers refer to the print version of this work. The index is included merely as a reference."
However, FWIW the Kindle edition of this book seems to contain real page numbers:
Yes… but that info may not have been in the epub file Vyrso received or, sadly enough, the compiler pulled them out because it didn't know what to do with them. I assume the compiler is similar to our pbb… it would be interesting (to me) to see how a Vyrso book is made.

I knew that.

I didn't know that. I could have sworn I'd seen page numbers in them before, but since you mentioned it I've gone and checked a whole bunch and it appears you're right. I would have thought the conversion process would be able to maintain page numbers, but indeed most Kindle books don't have page numbers either, so I guess it's too much to ask for.
