faithlife studyguide/commentary and add ons

Hi all, great app--very user friendly but I"m still stuck on a couple of things.

a) What is the source of the commentary/study notes that come with the FSB? The website is lacking in any detail and I can't find it in the actual document (I don't want to end up buying something elsewhere that I already have here).

b) Are there "add-ons" that work with the mobile app? Additional commentaries, etc. If so I can't figure out how and where to purchase them. The Faithlife website references a "3rd layer" of study tools including Lexham Bible Dictionary but says they are an additional purchase--and I can't figure out what does or doesn't work with FSB in the Logos store.

Thanks for any response.

    Frank,

The FSB app is a slightly changed version of the Logos app "Bible" - both will display nearly all resources you have in your Logos library. Therefore you can buy additional stuff at logos.com (and vyrso.com) and it will show up in the app. You can see these resources as well on biblia.com (without many of the features of the app and the - much more powerful - desktop application). In other words - nearly everything you see in the Logos store will work with FSB (the exception for the "nearly" will be the small, one-digit percentage of resources that show "works on PC and Mac" (only) on their product page).

The Lexham Bible Dictionary is no additional purchase, but part of the free FSB - likewise the faithlife Infopraphics. Other oft-cited 3rd layer-resources are the AYBD and the ISBE dictionaries.

    Hope this helps,

    Mick

Edited to clarify the "nearly all".

Have joy in the Lord! Smile

Thank you very much, very helpful. the FSB site could be a little more informative--I'm sure I'm not the only one who's been unclear on this.
