When orders are sorted by status, something weird happens.
Very strange
I have just looked at mine and don't see this.
I have two with a "shipping status" - one on 16 July and one in "Sep".
They both appear together as shown below:
Will probably need Logos to comment on why we are seeing different results.
Hi Lee,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I've sent your comment to the appropriate Logos employee and they should be responding soon!

I figure it is because the default is by Pre-Order date chronologically. Then if you click "status" to sort, it first sorts alphabetically (ie. Gathering Interest, Ships, Under Contract.) When "status" is clicked a second time it sorts in reverse alphabetical order. The "Ships" status is always in the middle. Our original poster does not have any "Gathering Interest" to reveal this pattern.
The way to sort by status is to click on the word "status."
You can read more about it here: Whoa! Something is drastically wrong with the orders page.
Clicking on the "Status" button multiple times, I find that the button is working intermittently. When it does work (when a change occurs in the sort order), the order still comes up weird.
The other sort buttons seem to work as expected.
IE10, Win7 SP1 x64.
Any time you leave the page and come back it will always default to chronological Pre-Order sorting. My sort by status function works everytime (so long as I stay on the page) and is always alphabetical or reverse alphabetical. "Ships" is always in the middle unless sorting by Pre-Order date.
This sorting is done by design and would not be a problem except that we like "Ships" dates to be on top.
No, it's like this. When I click on "Status", the button only responds intermittently.
When it does respond (i.e. the sort order changes), the sort order is all weird, as in the screen capture.
Reloaded several times, it's still the same.
I have not seen any issues with other webpages, and other sort buttons on this webpage work as expected.

The screen capture displays a properly sorted Pre-Order date. I am assuming the blurred out resources were done intentionally by you for privacy. If your Status sort button is only working intermittently it is a problem I am not experiencing. The weird order of display under status in the screenshot is because when sorting by Pre-Order date the function ignores the status.
I am probably misunderstanding you.
No problem. Obviously you are not seeing the error on your end.
Like your new look.
[Y] He is looking as young as I am, and they tell me that I look as if I am in my twenties. Ok. late twenties/early thirties.
As I mentioned in a separate post, the sorting for this pane is wrong and we'll fix it soon. The "correct" order when sorting by status, descending, as far as we've discussed it internally is:

[Y][H] Yay! You don't know how much I appreciate this order. Thank you!

Thanks for this assurance, Cameron. I hope you're also going to fix the other sort order problem, the "1, 12, 2 programming bug" mentioned and illustrated here.
And it would also be good if you could put back the alternating shades of blue mentioned in that same post, which made it easier to read the data.
Both problems should be fixed in the upcoming release. Here's what the version in test looks like:
I'll ask about alternating the row colors.
I think this one might be fixed? If so: Woo hoo!
Yes it is Brian.
It should be the same as on the Prepub and CP pages when sorted by Progress. Currently Gathering Interest and CP's are sorted by Date, even when Status is selected.
Community Price bids are now sorted by status and then by the percentage committed toward the production cost.
Thanks.
Now, can you please do the same thing for the Gathering Interest part of Open Pre-Pubs? I e when sorted by Status, these titles should be ordered according to how close they are to switch over to Under Contract. Or, in other words, the list should be identical to http://www.logos.com/products/search?Status=Pre-Pub&start=0&sort=shipdate&pageSize=60&unlocked=yes.
Bump.

I entered a case for this.
Thank you,Mike
I've elevated the case for this issue as requested in http://community.logos.com/forums/p/85712/600762.aspx.
Thank you!
