It's not available in Logos but if you don't mind doing a Word Search then you can find an electronic edition

    Chapter 1

    Notes For Verse 1

    a [James]

     James

James was not the one called the son of Zebedee (Mt. 4:21, note) or the son of Alphaeus (Lk. 24:10, note), but the actual half-brother of Jesus Christ (Mt. 13:55; Mk. 6:3; Gal. 1:19). See note, Lk. 8:19, for proof that Mary had other children after Jesus was born. Christ's brethren did not believe in Him until after the resurrection (Jn. 7:5), but the other two men named James did. This James experienced a special appearance of Christ but is not classed as an apostle (1Cor. 15:7). This verse alone proves that there were three James's, for the other two were apostles (Mt. 10:2-3). It is always clear in Scripture when the other two are meant. Mary, the sister of the virgin Mary, had only two sons and one daughter (Mt. 27:56; Mk. 15:40; 16:1; Lk. 24:10). The fact that her sons had the same names as two sons of the virgin Mary proves nothing. The brethren of Jesus are distinguished from the two apostles called James (Acts 1:13-14). The virgin Mary had more sons and daughters than did her sister Mary (Mt. 13:55; Mk. 6:3). Jude was the brother of James of this book (Jude 1:1). It is safe to conclude that when James is referred to without any designation as "brother of John," "son of Zebedee," or "son of Alphaeus," that James the brother of our Lord is meant (Acts 12:2,17; 15:13; 21:18; 1Cor. 15:7; Gal. 1:19; 2:9,12; Jas. 1:1; Jude 1:1). James was martyred in A.D. 62.

b [servant] Greek: doulos (GSN-<G1401>), bondman (note Mt. 20:27).

c [of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ] Another clear reference to two separate and distinct persons -- God and Christ (1Jn. 5:7, note).

d [twelve tribes] The twelve tribes were still in existence, so ten of them weren't lost and never have been lost, any more than the two tribes. See Eighty-two Proofs that Jews and Israel the Same.

e [scattered abroad] Jews lived in all lands and in every city of Europe, Asia, and Africa (Acts 2:5-9; 26:6). They maintained their own laws and synagogues remaining separate from all other peoples.

f [greeting] Greek: chairo (GSN-<G5463>), rejoice; joy; hail. An ancient greeting of health and prosperity. Translated greeting (v. 1; Acts 15:23; 23:26); Godspeed (2Jn. 1:10-11); farewell (2Cor. 13:11); joyfully (Lk. 19:6); joy (2Cor. 7:13; Php. 2:17-18; Col. 2:5; 1Th. 3:9); hail 6 times; be glad 14 times; and rejoice 37 times.

     Notes For Verse 2

a [fall into] Greek: peripipto (GSN-<G4045>), to fall into; to be caught by. Here; Lk. 10:30; Acts 27:41.

b [divers temptations] Different trials. Greek: peirasmos (GSN-<G3986>), trial; attack; put to proof; examine; question (note, Gal. 4:14). A trial of any kind, not necessarily temptation to sin (vv. 2-4,12; 1Pet. 1:7).

     Notes For Verse 3

a [trying of your faith worketh patience] Trials test religion and faith and the man who stands true in them proves his religion sound and his faith genuine. Tests work patience and patience works perfection (vv. 3-4,12; Rom. 5:3-5; 1Pet. 1:7).

     Notes For Verse 4

    a [perfect work]

     Six Perfect Things in James

    1. Perfect work of patience (Jas. 1:4)

    2. Perfect knowledge (note, Php. 3:15)

    3. Perfect gifts (Jas. 1:17)

    4. Perfect law of liberty (Jas. 1:25)

    2. Entire -- personal completeness in all graces and gifts of God. Greek: holokleros (GSN-<G3648>), complete in all parts. Translated whole in 1Th. 5:23.

    Notes For Verse 5

a [lack] Greek: leipo (GSN-<G3007>), come short of. Translated lack (v. 5; Lk. 18:22); wanting (v. 4; Tit. 1:5; 3:13); and destitute (Jas. 2:15). What any man lacks of wisdom he may have.

b [wisdom] Greek: sophia (GSN-<G4678>), cleverness; skill; scientific knowledge; wisdom. Translated wisdom 49 times.

    Fifteen Ways Wisdom Is Used

    1. Human education (Acts 7:22)

    2. Man's wisdom (1Cor. 1:19-22; 2:1-13)

    3. Human philosophy and religion (Col. 2:23; 1Cor. 3:19; 2Cor. 1:12; Gal. 1:14)

    4. Earthly, sensual, devilish wisdom (Jas. 3:14-16)

    5. Prophetic anointing (Lk. 11:49)

    6. Godly training (Lk. 2:40,52)

    7. Anointing to speak (Lk. 21:15; Acts 6; 1Cor. 2:7)

    8. Ministerial ability (Eph. 1:8,17; 3:10; Col. 1:19,28)

    10. Divine gift of wisdom (1Cor. 12:8)

    11. Divine attribute of God (Rom. 11:33)

    12. Heavenly wisdom (Jas. 3:17-18)

    13. Spirit of revelation (2Pet. 3:15)

    14. Ability of Christ (Mt. 12:42; 13:54)

    15. Native insight (Rev. 13:18; 17:9)

c [let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him]

    Six Secrets of Answered Prayer

    1. Lack -- consciousness of needs (v. 5)

    2. Let him ask of God (v. 5; Php. 4:6)

    3. That giveth to all men liberally (v. 5; Mt. 7:7-11; 21:22; Mk. 11:22-24)

    4. Upbraideth not (v. 5). Greek: oneidizo (GSN-<G3679>). Translated upbraid (v. 5; Mt. 11:20; Mk. 16:14); revile (Mt. 5:11; Mk. 15:32); cast in one's teeth (Mt. 27:44); and reproach (Lk. 6:22; Rom. 15:3; 1Tim. 4:10; 1Pet. 4:14). Men have been rebuked for unbelief, but never for having faith (Mt. 6:30; 8:26; 11:20; 17:17; Mk. 16:14)

    5. It shall be given him (v. 5; Mt. 7:7-11; 17:20; 21:22; Mk. 9:23; 11:22-24; Lk. 11:1-13; 18:1-14; Jn. 14:12-15; 15:7,16; 16:23-26; 1Jn. 3:21-22; 5:13-14)

    6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering (v. 6; Heb. 11:6)

    Notes For Verse 6

a [let him ask in faith]

Sevenfold Way to Pray to Get Answers

    1. Pray to the Father (Jn. 16:23)

    2. In the name of Jesus (Jn. 14:12-15)

    3. By the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:26)

    4. With full understanding of rights and priviliges (1Cor. 14:14-15)

    5. In harmony with the Word (Jn. 15:7)

    6. In faith, nothing doubting (v. 6)

    7. With praise for the answer (Php. 4:6)

b [nothing wavering] Nothing doubting. Greek: diakrino (GSN-<G1252>), doubting; staggering (note, 1Cor. 11:29).

c [he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed] He who doubts is like a wave that is rising one moment, sinking the next. One minute he believes; another he does not. He says yes and then no to what God has promised, never making up his mind which way he believes. He staggers like a drunken man, helpless in prayer.

    Notes For Verse 7

a [let not that men think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord] It is as certain that a doubtful man will not get an answer as it is that the man of faith will get an answer (vv. 5,7).

    Notes For Verse 8

b [double minded] This term was used by the Jews of a man who attempted to worship God and still loved the creature; who wished to secure both worlds. He would not give up the world here and yet was loathe to give up heaven -- one torn between carnal and spiritual things.

Generally it is considered a no no to mention competing products, and even in the case of Logos not having it, links to other software sights are again frowned upon  To state it is available in Accordance or Wordsearch is usually tolerated, but this is a bit of a grey area and will often get cloaked into a phrase like that to avoid appearing to promote other software. I am glad you figured out WS/QV was were you could locate it.
