Message received when I tried to install Proclaim! I went ahead and installed on my 2nd attempt. I hope it doesn't hurt my computer. Any other info would be appreciated!
I'm guessing thats a standard message in your operating system. Both Mac and Windows will display such messages under certain circumstances - e.g. when running an executable which is not downloaded through the app store. Even some browsers (at least with certain settings) will warn you when downloading ANY executable file.
The key is knowing when to heed the warning, and whether or not you trust the company responsible for the program - in this case Logos/Proclaim.
One could ask if Logos should not be offered through the app store, but that will hardly happen anytime soon. I do not know how what windows does, but Apple requires rediculous cuts from all sales in their app store, as well as any later in-app purchases.
