Don't you think that price should be lowered a bit? Tongue Tied

It seems the Concordia Electronic Theological Library bundles are really a steal, and it happens quite often that these bundles are cheaper than some of the resources within. I think this also holds true e.g. for CSSB.

To some extent this doesn't exactly make sense to me, but friends who work in marketing insist that it does.  It greatly encourages people to buy the package instead of just the resource, which is an opportunity for Logos to show off how resources can work together, which makes it more likely that the user will buy more resources, etc...  And while I sort of understand the logic, I fully admit that I would never come up with it myself, and am a bit skeptical if it actually works.

Three years ago there were quite a few resources that were more expensive than the bundles they were included in, but lately I believe they have lowered the price every time we have alerted them to one of them, so at this point I don't think it's deliberate (unless it's Concordia's fault, of course).

(Good thing I added that parenthesis at the end.[:)])

(If I had time -- and more interest in the books -- I'd write to Concordia, but I don't.)

I count it as a positive thing: We get books cheaper in collections. I'm happy to get both a cheaper price and more books. :)
