Turn off Aero = Black screen when full screen?

Hi.

Can anyone reproduce the following issue?

1. Start Vista 32 bit home with Aero enabled.

2. Switch Aero off.

3. Start Libronix.

4. Make Libronix full screen.

5. Result is a black screen. Double click where the titlebar would be to restore the window to the normal size and the contents appear. Maximise again and they disappear again.

Since I'd had a couple of crashes of VMware and they look like graphics issues, I tried disabling Aero. (I think they're VMware's fault, though I've only started seeing them since installing the Libronix beta... did I mention I'm running a VMware beta too!)

A reboot makes no difference.

I don't have Aero, sorry.

But, I am runing VMWare Fusion 1.0 with Windows XP. It is a clean install just for this test. I have not had any crashes or glitches so far.

It does not happen for me.

I am running vista ultimate. No VM. NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT graphics card.
