Song order and changes to lyrics not being saved

We are running Proclaim linked with CCLI/SongSelect and Planning Center Online (PCO). When we import a worship order from PCO, all songs seem to be imported "new" each time, and verse/sequence which we have setup are ignored. Is this the way this should be working?

For example:

Our worship team prefers to sing a particular song in the following order: V1, C1, V2, C1, and we have altered some of the words in the verses (due to having slightly different versions of songs). We import the song - setup the sequence and click the box to the left of the verse/chorus sequence. Everything is fine. However, if we sing the same song another week and re-import from PCO - it appears that Proclaim imports the original SongSelect version again and we lose our verse sequencing and changes to words that we have altered.

Is there anyway to preserve the original changes?

We should take the lyrics with your customizations from PCO if you have them there. If the lyrics are not available in PCO we fall back to using SongSelect (if an account is linked). I will have our tester look into this to see if something has regressed.

Hey Gale,

So I just looked into your issue with Scott and the upload seems to be working fine on our end. However re-importing the song from PCO does override the version that you have in your Presentation (Which I will write a bug report for shortly). In order to make sure you have the correct verse/sequence setup, you must do the verse/sequence alterations within PCO before importing and you do that the following way:

1. Go to planningcenteronline.com and sign in.

2. Navigate to the presentation that includes the song you will be importing (Should look like it does below).

3. Hover your mouse over the sogn title and click on the edit song button (looks like a pencil) and it brings up the menu shown below

4. Now click the edit sequence button next to the words sequence (again it looks like a pencil (menu shown below)

5. Once you have the sequence desired, click accept and it will save the edited sequence. After this you can import the song with your alterations.

Since importing a song from PCO overrides the current version that you have in Proclaim, use the tip that Mike suggested until we have fixed the overriding issue.
