I'm used to using F2 to switch between english/greek/hebrew for eg original language searches or Bible word study; alternatively there used to be the tray icon. Is it hidden away somewhere?
There is no keyboard switching feature in Logos 4; instead type something like "g:logos" or "h:bra" and the software will transliterate it and provide a list of options to pick from.
You can still use the built-in Windows functionality and can switch between your keyboard languages using Alt + Shift on the left side of your keyboard. You'll need to install our keyboard first.
A cool new feature in Logos 4 that you may want to try out is using g: (or h:) before you type your word.
Logos 4 will read your English characters as Greek.
(Looks like Bradley beat me to the punch. But I included a screenshot. )
That's so weird that you picked the same example I did!
Excellent! That works well...
Phil, using this syntax for Greek and Hebrew search does not work from the main search box on the top navi-bar. Is it supposed to work from there?
Confirming what Joe has found. The new method of entry does not appear to work from the top search entry box.
There are a few places where we should probably support the g: etc. where we currently don't. We're looking into them. Thanks for reporting this.
