How do I PERMANENTLY delete a File

I have added image files for my sermons as well as backgrounds and I cannot delete them!

When I try they still appear! please help me get rid if this clutter!

We have just deployed a fix for issue #1 referenced in the post. Now when you remove an item from your library and wait at least one minute for the server side index to catch up, it will be gone for good. Continuing work on the other items mentioned in the post.

Correction: Apologies for the confusion, I've now realized that this fix has not been deployed yet. Talked to the services team and they think they should be able to get it out this week.
